Spotlight profile

I’m an actor and musician from Liverpool, big into footy, music and cats.”

What kind of actor do you aspire to be?

The kind of actor that crops up here, there, and everywhere. One that is respected and trusted to do a job on any production they’re cast in, one that can put creatives and audiences at ease.

What performance piece did you choose for the showcase and why?

I picked my own for stage because it shows a lot of my personality and stupid sense of humour. I picked Joe’s for screen because he did it really well for our showcase, so I robbed it.

What book, theatre, film or TV production has most inspired you?

Severance on Apple TV was one of the most gripping and original series I’ve watched for a long time. Also, Free Play by Stephen Nachmanovitch.

How do you keep creative during?

I began writing my own monologues and short plays but I also play drums in a band, called Sleep Walking Animals, with a group of other actors/creatives. Listen to our music on Spotify, Apple Music and all the other streaming platforms. It’s good I reckon.

What is the dream role you’d love to play?

I never know what to say when asked this, but I’ve always been a big fan of Shakespeare and American playwrights too, so maybe a lead in something like that on a nice big prestigious stage.

What do you hope to be doing this time next year?

Working as an actor on a project I love whilst writing and releasing more music with my lovely mates.
